About the Event

Hadrian's Wall Art Trail 2026

Three weekends of art, landscape and discovery along Hadrian’s Wall

This September, the Hadrian’s Wall Art Trail returns, celebrating artists, creativity and the remarkable landscape and communities surrounding Hadrian’s Wall.

Inspired by this year’s theme Underfoot / Overhead, the trail invites you to look down, look up and experience this extraordinary landscape from a different perspective.

Discover 80+ artworks from artists across Cumbria, Northumberland and beyond, including painting, print, photography, textiles, illustration and mixed media.

Alongside the exhibitions, there will be creative workshops, performances and special events taking place throughout the three weekends.
